COCONUT PRODUCTS

REFINED COCONUT OIL (RBD Oil)

Refined coconut oil is the processed coconut oil that does not contain any impurities. It is more precisely called RBD coconut oil. RBD stands for refined, bleached, and deodorized. Therefore, refined coconut oil has a neutral scent and flavor. The smoke point of refined coconut oil is higher than that of unrefined coconut oil. Hence, it can be heated up to 204 °C. This oil is best for recipes that do not desire natural coconut flavor and scent. The manufacturing process of this oil includes extracting oil from copra or dried coconut meat and steaming it to remove the natural aroma of coconut. Some refined coconut oils are partially hydrogenated. Hence, they contain trans-fat that cause cardiovascular diseases. Furthermore, this coconut oil does not contain any impurities such as insect remains, dust particles, microbes, fungal spores, etc.

COCONUT MILK POWDER

We’re engaged in offering our clients the turn key project of coconut milk powder. The plant contains pretreatment, standardization, concentration, spray drying and packing. The control, fault protection, cleaning and other parts are all operated automatically. The processing of coconut milk powder is from liquid coconut to solid powder. And fragrance, flavor, protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and other important nutrient are retained in the powder. Furthermore we can also provide installation and training abroad to meet the needs of our clients.

MCT Oil

Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) are mixed triglycerides of saturated fatty acids with chain lengths ranging from 6 to 12 carbon atoms, primarily composed of C8 (caprylic acid) and C10 (capric acid).

MCT oil serves various purposes in cosmetics, functioning as a skin conditioning agent – occlusive. It forms a barrier on the skin’s surface, slowing the loss of water and aiding in moisture retention. One of its significant advantages lies in its inert and stable nature as a fully saturated oil, making it an ideal emollient. MCT oil is utilized in a wide array of cosmetic products including aerosols, creams, ointments, lotions, and lipsticks. Crown Machinery recommends employing the molecular distillation technique as the primary method for producing MCT oil.

COCO METHYL ESTER

CME is the acronym for Coconut Methyl Ester or CocoBiodiesel. Biodiesel is typically made by chemically reacting lipids like vegetable oil with an alcohol producing fatty acid esters. On the other hand, it is the international name for methyl ester when used as diesel fuel or enhancer, (CME is not the same as the coco-diesel used in the 70’s. Coco-diesel pertains to the use of crude coconut oil. Unlike Coco Biodiesel this crude coconut oil did not undergo esterification.)

Technologies for Virgin Coconut oil (VCO)

Crown Machinery has dedicated itself to developing various types of centrifuges for manufacturing and processing virgin coconut oil (VCO) for over a decade. There are three primary methods for producing VCO: the dry process, the wet process, and the fermentation process. In the wet and fermentation processes, coconut milk is treated, extracted by squeezing the coconut. On the other hand, in the dry process, dried coconut meat or copra is utilized to extract the VCO. Crown Machinery has honed its expertise in all three processes and provides the necessary equipment for a comprehensive processing line.

For VCO manufacturing, our top recommendation is the “Cold Press Centrifuge Extraction Wet Process.” This method maintains processing temperatures below 60 degrees Celsius, effectively preserving the organic and natural components of the final product. The result is a colorless, sediment-free oil with a delightful natural coconut scent. Furthermore, this oil boasts a lighter taste compared to oil extracted from dried coconut. Crucially, this process refrains from adding any chemicals, ensuring that the product is of the highest quality and offers optimal economic benefits.

Dehusking Machine

The process of husk or coir removal from raw coconuts is facilitated by a teeth knife installed on a rotating roller. This machine is renowned for its exceptional performance, effortless maintenance, and sturdy construction.

Dewatering Machine

Utilized for coconut water extraction, this innovative machine drills a hole into the surface of the coconut shell. A tubule, equipped with a drill, penetrates the interior of the coconut, while a vacuum pump efficiently extracts the coconut water. This entire process operates seamlessly and automatically, streamlining coconut water extraction.

Deshelling Machine

The deshelling machine functions by detaching the hard shell from dehusked coconuts using a rotating disc cutter. Specially designed blades ensure precise removal of the inner shell with exceptional accuracy. While in operation, an operator is required to hold the coconut in place. The machine is distinguished by its ease of operation and safety features, ensuring efficient deshelling while prioritizing user safety.

Paring Machine

Paring machine serves the purpose of peeling the brown and soft outer seed coat or testa of coconuts. Its rugged blade efficiently removes the testa with minimal wastage. While in operation, an operator is required to hold the coconut in place. The machine is designed for ease of use and ensures precise peeling while minimizing material loss.

Washing Machine

The washing of coconut meat or copra is facilitated by a combined operation involving air bubble, surfing, hoisting, and spraying. This comprehensive process ensures thorough cleaning. Remarkably, the flushing water can be filtered and reused, enhancing sustainability and minimizing water wastage.

Grinding Machine

Utilize a rotating screw mechanism to gently squeeze the coconut meat, extracting the pure coconut milk within. This method ensures optimal extraction while preserving the natural integrity of the milk. As the process progresses, the liquid milk smoothly flows out from the bottom hopper, while the residual coconut powder effortlessly slides out from the front spout. This streamlined process maximizes efficiency and minimizes waste, allowing us to produce high-quality virgin coconut oil with precision and consistency.

Filter Centrifuge

FSS series basket centrifuge serves as a crucial component for filtering the coconut milk paste. Within this series, specialized filter bags, tailored with varying mesh sizes, are positioned within the bowl. Following the initial centrifugal filtration, the coconut milk paste achieves refined clarity and purity, ready for subsequent processing. At this stage, the filtered paste seamlessly progresses to the disc centrifuge for further refinement and enhancement, ensuring the production of premium-grade virgin coconut oil.

Disc Centrifuge

The DGS series disc centrifuge, equipped with CIP (Clean-in-Place) functionality and an automatic discharging system, serves as the primary separator for extracting coconut oil from coconut milk. This innovative system ensures efficient separation while maintaining hygiene standards through automated cleaning processes. Subsequently, the extracted coconut oil undergoes further clarification by passing through a tubular separator. This additional step enhances the purity and clarity of the coconut oil, guaranteeing a high-quality end product for our customers.

Tubular Separator

TS series tubular seprartor is meticulously designed to achieve a crucial objective: further purifying coconut oil to meet the stringent requirements for subsequent processing in the disc stack centrifuge. Through the advanced capabilities of the TS series, the final moisture content of the oil can be reduced to an impressive level lower than 0.03%. Additionally, any remaining fine solid particles are efficiently discharged through manual scraping of the bowl, ensuring exceptional purity and quality in the refined coconut oil.
