HDS SERIES

DECANTER CENTRIFUGE

Separatng solid and liquid, handling large solid capacities with medium to low-speed suspension. Ideal for diverse industries.

HDS SERIES DECANTER CENTRIFUGE

HDS Series decanter centrifuge is advanced separation equipment designed to simultaneously separate three phases: two immiscible liquid phases and one solid phase. This innovative technology is essential in various industries where efficient and precise separation of components is critical, including the food and beverage industry, chemical processing, wastewater treatment, and oil and gas industries.

HDS decantercentrifuge has ability to handle complex mixtures, combined with high efficiency, flexibility, and continuous operation, makes them an invaluable asset for improving separation processes and optimizing production. Investing in tricanter centrifuge technology can lead to enhanced product quality, increased yield, and reduced operational costs, benefiting a wide array of industrial applications.

Working Principle

The working principle of a decanter centrifuge is similar to that of a decanter centrifuge but with an additional level of complexity to handle the separation of three distinct phases. The tricanter centrifuge consists of a cylindrical bowl that rotates at high speeds, creating a strong centrifugal force. This force causes the denser solid particles to move outward and settle against the bowl’s wall, while the lighter liquid phases separate into distinct layers based on their densities.

Equipped with a specially designed scroll conveyor and adjustable weirs, which enable the precise control of the separated phases. The solid phase is continuously conveyed out of the bowl by the scroll, while the two liquid phases are separately discharged through different outlets. The ability to adjust the weirs ensures optimal separation efficiency and allows the tricanter to handle varying feed compositions and separation requirements.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Three-Phase Separation: Tricanter centrifuges are capable of separating two immiscible liquids and solid particles in a single operation, making them highly efficient for complex separation tasks.
  • High Efficiency: The high rotational speeds and precise control mechanisms ensure efficient separation, maximizing yield and product purity.
  • Flexibility: Tricanter centrifuges can handle a wide range of feed materials with varying compositions, making them versatile for different industrial applications.
  • Continuous Operation: Designed for continuous operation, tricanter centrifuges ensure consistent performance and reduced downtime, which is crucial for large-scale industrial processes.
  • Low Maintenance: These centrifuges are built for durability and require minimal maintenance, contributing to lower operational costs and increased productivity.
